Hi, I am a doctoral researcher at Ghent University and the Université Libre de Bruxelles's Faculty of Law. My PhD project is entitled 'The Birth of a Regime: The First Generation of Western-European Bilateral Investment Treaties (1959-1989)', in which I conduct multi-country, archival research to better understand the origins of today's BIT regime.
