About

My name is Gergana Tzvetkova, and I am an MSCA Research Fellow at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, where I am implementing the project SteREotyping, DiSInformation, and PoliticiSaTion: links between attacks against the Istanbul Convention and increased online gender-based violence (RESIST). My areas of interest include human rights, women's rights, digital rights, disinformation, foreign policy, global governance, and transitional justice. Previously, as Director of the Sociological Program of the Center for the Study of Democracy, I worked on projects related to gender equality, migration, social inclusion of vulnerable groups, democracy, and human rights. I have an interdisciplinary academic background, and I received my PhD (cum laude) from the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Italy.
