Gil Pradeau is a project officer at the Montpellier Advanced Knowledge Institute on Transitions and a PhD candidate at the University of Westminster. His research focuses on the difficult institutionalisation of participatory budgeting at the state level in Brazil, while this democratic innovation has been a successful case of diffusion in hundreds of municipalities. His research interests also include social network analysis and qualitative comparative analysis. He has been a teaching assistant at the University of Westminster and the Sorbonne.
