About

I am a first-year PhD student in Transnational Governance, a joint programme organised by Scuola Normale Superiore in partnership with Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies. My research focuses on the EU and, more specifically, on the role of the European Commission in EU policy-making. I earned a double master's degree in Global Politics, European Union and Euro-Mediterranean Relations from University of Catania and University of Liège, focusing on EU crisis decision-making and migration policy. I am also an alumnus of Scuola Superiore di Catania, the higher education centre of the University of Catania, where I have explored different domains of political science and IR, from IPE to critical security studies.
