I am a PhD candidate at the University of Limerick, Department of Politics and Public Administration. My research interests include comparative public policy, climate governance, and sustainability transitions. My current research focuses on the relationship between local government autonomy and sustainable urban mobility transitions within multilevel climate governance frameworks. I am analysing the impact of the interaction between local government autonomy and policy preferences through case studies in Ireland and Sweden. The empirical analysis is built on cross comparative case studies of two medium sized cities, Limerick (Ireland) and Umeå (Sweden).
