About

Inese Āboliņa is an assistant professor and post-doctoral researcher of the Faculty of Business, Management, and Economics at the University of Latvia. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Latvia. Her Ph.D. thesis focused on Presidential Vetoes and Leadership in Decision-Making within the political governance in Latvia. She has worked for the National Radio and TV Council in Latvia; Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Latvia; Council of European Union, Brussels; Chancellery of the State President Valdis Zatlers, Latvia; airBalticTravel; loyalty program BalticMiles later rebranded to pins and national airline airBaltic. Her research interests include leadership, decision-making, governance network governance, business development, and sales in aviation.
