About

Isabelle is a Professor at Philipps-University Marburg and a member of the Marburg Center for Digital Culture and Infrastructure (MCDCI). Before joining the department for Political Science, she was an interim professor for the political system of Germany at the University of Siegen and led ‘DIPART. Digital Party Research’ – a junior research group on digital party research located at the NRW School of Governance, Institute for Political Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Before, she worked at the department of political science at the University of Trier. Isabelle does research on political organizations, especially political parties, comparative politics, and information technology/internet and politics. When not researching, she likes doing and teaching Yoga, running, hiking, gravel bikes, and swimming.
