About

I am an Assistant Professor I and Head of the Politics and Public Administration Programme at Hong Kong Metropolitan University. I am also an Adjunct Professor on the MSSc in Greater China Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Research Fellow in the Global Europe Centre at the University of Kent (UK). My research has appeared in political science journals such as JCMS: Journal of Common Market Studies, Electoral Studies, Journal of Chinese Political Science (Forthcoming), Italian Political Science Review, alongside in edited book volumes such as Routledge, the Contemporary China Series, Routledge (Handbook of Non-Violent Extremism) and The Routledge Handbook of Far-Right Extremism in Europe. My forthcoming co-authored book with Dr. Valerio Alfonso Bruno and Dr. Alessio Scopelliti will be published with Columbia University Press & ibidem Press in 2024, titled: “The Rise of the Radical Right in Italy: A New Balance of Power in the Right-Wing Camp.”
