About

I am a Lecturer in International Politics at King's College London, primarily working on ideology, extremism and violent conflict, with significant side interests in political theory (especially on methodological debates in political theory and on normative theories of political violence and extremism). My first book, Ideology and Mass Killing: The Radicalized Security Politics of Genocides and Deadly Atrocities has just been published by Oxford University Press, and I am the co-editor of the new Routledge Handbook of Ideology and International Relations, also published by Routledge in 2022. Before joining King's, I was a post-doctoral fellow and then lecturer at the University of Oxford between 2014 and 2020.
