About

I'm a freelance writer and researcher pursuing graduate studies in social and political theory at the Department of Sociology of the University of Innsbruck in Austria, where I also worked as a graduate teaching assistant in tutoring Introduction to Sociology. My current research project is a theoretical work which aims to harness William Edward Burghardt (W.E.B.) Du Bois’ anticolonial sociology to rethink and reconstruct the (Marxist) critique of ideology. My previous writings include journalistic texts for Jacobin magazine and the Transnational Institute as well as academic reviews that have appeared in the Austrian Journal of South-East Asian Studies and Politikon: The IAPSS Journal of Political Science.
