I am Graduate of the Department of Communication and Media with a Master of Arts in Communication and Mass Media - Digital Media and Interactive Environments. I am currently working on my PhD Automatic Discourse Analysis and Ideology. My research is focused on digital media and political discourse and on a) a bottom-up approach for utilizing computational techniques for analyzing empirical textual data as well as b) new methodologies of political and social research in the the digital space and the internet. I am also a research associate with the Department of Communication and Media Studies in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens working on Text Mining and Machine Learning techniques and Sentiment and Affectivity analysis in text.
