About

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Brasilia (IPOL-UnB), holding a Master's degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Graduate Program at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Belas Artes University Center. My research interests lie in the fields of Foreign Policy, Gender Studies, and Discourse Analysis. As a researcher, I focus on various topics including conservative backlash, Brazil-U.S. relations, sexual and reproductive rights, feminist theory, and lesbian feminism. I lead the Gender Policy Observatory, where I monitor legislative changes concerning women's rights and gender-based violence in politics. Additionally, I am a member of the Cravinas Legal Clinic at the University of Brasilia Law School, where I contribute to legal initiatives addressing gender issues. My academic journey and research experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding gender, politics, and international relations, and I am committed to contributing to scholarly discourse and advocating for gender equality and social justice through my work.
