I studied sociology and educational science at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main (Germany). After working at the Institute for Social-Ecological Research in Frankfurt am Main, I have been a sociologist at the Thünen-Institute for Rural Studies since 2018. In context of the research project 'Feelings of Being Left Behind' in Rural Areas?, I investigate how the population of rural regions perceives the situation on site and how the population relates to politics.
