Laura Luciani is a postdoctoral researcher at the Ghent Institute for International and European Studies (Ghent University, Belgium). Her research explores the European Union's attempts to transform the countries and (civil) societies of the South Caucasus through the spread of norms. Laura’s research interests revolve around the local effects and negotiations of international interventions, gender and sexuality in international politics, post- and decolonial thinking and interpretive methodologies.
