I am a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance where I am investigating the concept of deliberative integrity. As deliberative mini-publics proliferate around the world, they face increasing challenges to their integrity such as instrumentalisation, manipulation and simply poor organisation and quality. Our research on deliberative integrity explores different perspectives on the concept and understand how principles of deliberative integrity could be assessed in practice. My broader research interests include deliberative democracy, deliberative systems, Q methodology, animal ethics and representation and climate policy.
