About

I am a PhD candidate in political theory. My thesis investigates normative legitimacy issues with states’ immigration prevention and enforcement practices. I am also currently a research affiliate with the EUI Migration Policy Centres’s “The ethics of migration policy dilemmas” project. Previously, I co-coordinated both the Legal and Political Theory Working Group and the Migration Working Group. Besides the political theory of immigration, I have strong interests in normative theories of legitimate authority and the justificatory processes required by such authority. I am also interested in critical theory, especially as approached from the perspective of analytic social and political philosophy broadly conceived.
