I am currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Valencia, Spain. My research project explores whether how and why progressive political actors take different ideological and discursive stances on the digital transition. The current project extends the scope of the PhD at the University of Birmingham (UK), which inspired my first forthcoming book: The Left and Digital Politics: Political Parties from Platform Neoliberalism to Platform Socialism. From September 2022 to January 2024 I served as Lecturer in Politics at Royal Holloway University of London, where I contributed to the New Political Communication Unit: in this role, I coordinated the organisation of a workshop series and a symposium on the Politics of Platform Society. These are the foundations of my research interests, which explore the resistance to big tech platforms, the ideologies of the digital transition, and what is the role that digital innovation plays in reshaping left-wing and progressive politics.
