I am Senior Research Fellow in the EU programme at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, Associate Professor at the University of Cagliari and Adjunct Professor at the Universities of Helsinki and Tampere. Previously, I was a Marie Curie and DAAD fellow at the Institute of European Politics in Berlin, the Institute of World Economics in Budapest and the Trans European Policy Studies Association in Brussels. I have a PhD in Politics from the University of Edinburgh, an MA in International Studies from the Vienna School of International Studies and a BA in History and German from Oxford University.
