I am Assistant Professor in Public Administration at Bocconi University in Milan. I am interested in comparative public administration, politics-administration relations, crisis management, government institutions and public policy from a comparative perspective. I have conducted my doctoral research the Hertie School in Berlin. My doctoral thesis examined the effects of countries' population size on the performance of their political systems and bureaucracies.
