Political scientist and human rights activist with an interdisciplinary background (International Economic Relations, Gender Studies, Psychology, Political Science). Currently a Visiting Professor and EUTOPIA Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. I am also a Senior FWO Fellow (2021/2026, start postponed due to EUTOPIA fellowship). I hold a Ph.D. degree in Political Science from Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany, and a degree of Candidate of Science in Economics from Oles Honchar National University, Dnipro, Ukraine. My research interests and expertise include human rights and, in particular, rights of LGBTQ+ people, gender equality, queer migration, urban studies, space and sexuality, anti-gender movements in Europe, heteroactivism, and political homophobia. I am currently working on a 5-year project on resistances to gender and sexual equalities in Eastern Partnership Countries.
