About

I am a first-year PhD student in Politics at the University of Southampton. My research revolves around the political participation of EU migrants at local level in England. I will run a qualitative comparative analysis of four cities to determine how the political context can influence the participation of a big minority such as non-native EU citizens, considering the social, economic, and political impact of Brexit on this population. At this conference, I am presenting a paper on the long terms effect on legally enforced e-Petitions on local governments, based on a small case study of the Southampton City Council I did for my MSc dissertation. I am interested in general in political participation, local governments, and e-Democracy.
