About

Mirko Crulli is a research fellow at LUISS, Rome and a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science of the University of Pisa, where he also served as a teaching assistant in Political Sociology. Previously, he was a visiting postgraduate research student at the Department of Politics, University of Surrey. His main research interests are cleavage politics, electoral behaviour and public opinion, populism and radical right politics (on both supply- and demand-sides), political geography. His works on these topics appeared in national and international scientific journals, including British Journal of Politics and International Relations, European Urban and Regional Studies, European Journal of Cultural and Political Sociology, Contemporary Italian Politics, Italian Journal of Electoral Studies. He is member of the Italian Society for Electoral Studies (SISE), the Political Studies Association (PSA), and the Political Sociology Section of AIS (Italian Sociological Association). He was awarded the “Celso Ghini” prize for the best master’s degree thesis in the field of electoral studies by SISE.
