My main academic interest is in comparative European politics, with a focus on political parties. I am also interested in case-orientated research methods and empirical theory. My teaching involves courses on comparative politics and methods. On the researchexternal link front, I lead the project Political Parties and their Leadersexternal link, which is undertaken through the Party Leadership Networkexternal link.
