About

Nils Stockmann is research fellow at the Institute of Social Sciences at Osnabrück University where he currently works on the project "Climate Finance Society" in the International Political Economy Working group. From June 2018 until May 2023 NilsResearch Fellow at the Junior Professorship for Global Environmental Governance at the University of Münster. Nils studied Political Science & Economics (B.A.) and the Master program Political Science (M.A.), both at the University of Münster. In the Winter term 2022 Nils was visitiong researcher at the Institute of European Studies at the University of California, Berkeley and in 2018 he worked with the Northamerica Office of the German Research Foundation (DFG) in Washington, DC. Nils has published work in journals such as the Journal of Common Market Studies, New Perspectives and Sustainability: Science, Practice and Policy. He is appointed member of the German Political Science Association's (DVPW) early-career commitee. Main research interests: Empirically: EU Mobility Politics, Intersectoral Policy Integration, Knowledge and Justice in Sustainable Transformation Processes Theoretically: Critical IR Norm Theory, International Political Sociology Methodical: Qualitative-interpretative methods, discourse-analytical approaches
