About

Oana Băluţă is an Associate Professor for the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Studies at the University of Bucharest, where she teaches Gender and Politics; Contemporary Political Ideologies, Political Participation and New Social Movements. She also works for the Gender, Minorities and Public Policies MA, part of the Faculty of Political Science (National School for Political Studies and Public Administration), where she teaches Gender, Minorities and Political Representation. Oana Băluţă is a researcher and a writer in the field of gender equality, she has had books and articles published on feminism, work-life balance policies, representation of women, impact of economic crisis on women, gender political interests and political representation and more. She is also a dedicated supporter of women’s rights and gender equality.
