About

I am a researcher at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) and a PhD candidate at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany. In my dissertation, I explore the impact of national sustainability institutions such as, inter alia, councils, commissions or ombudspersons, on political decision-making. I am further interested in the potential of deliberative mini-publics for the transformation to sustainability. At IDOS, I work in the research programme on Environmental Governance and Transformation to Sustainability. My academic background is in political science and public management as well as in development studies.
