Olga Ignatjeva works as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Political Science at St. Petersburg State University. Olga Ignatjeva defended PhD in Sociology in 2012. Sphere of scientific interests is the digitalization of political governance, methodology of political science, math, statistics, programming languages, political power Olga has been studying at the faculty of sociology, St.Petersburg State University since 2006 doing PhD research upon the theme: "Heuristic Possibilities of Max Weber's Conception of Power in the Research of Modern Societies". She has tested this conception on the basis of the political systems of Germany, Great Britain, and Russia. Also, she has analyzed the influence of the Lutheran, Anglican and Orthodox religions on the behaviour and political systems of Germany, the United Kingdom and Russia accordingly.
