Patricia García Leiva. Prof García Leiva holds a degree and a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Malaga (Spain). During the past ten years she has focused her research interests in the areas of participatory budgeting, citizens’ deliberation and local governance. She has been the Coordinator of PARLOCAL, a large research and training project for local government officials in Europe and Latin America funded by the EC’s Non-State Actors and Local Governments Programme. She has published several books and articles on these subjects (see Albornoz-Manyoma, García-Leiva and Palacios-Gálvez, 2021; Albornoz-Manyoma, García-Leiva and Palacios-Gálvez, 2020; García-Leiva and Falck, 2018; García-Leiva, 2013; García-Leiva and Paño, 2012; Allegretti et al., 2011).
