Patrick Dumont is Professor in the School of Politics and International Relations at the Australian National University in Canberra. He was also a guest professor at the University of Luxembourg (2020-2021). He is the chair of IPSA’s Research Committee on Elites (RC02) and co-editor of the Routledge Research on Social and Political Elites book series. He was the co-founder of the ECPR Standing Group on Elites and Political Leadership. He has published extensively on coalition governments and is currently involved in several comparative projects on political elites, electoral campaigns and political representation.
