About

Pedro Miguel Alves Ribeiro Correia holds a PhD in Social Sciences (Specialty in Public Administration), since 2012, from the Technical University of Lisbon, has a Degree in Law, obtained in 2021, from the University of Lisbon Law School and has a Degree in Statistics and Information Management, obtained in 2006, from the Information Management School at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He is Invited Associate Professor at the University of Coimbra School of Law, Consultant (by Nomination) at the Portuguese Ministry of Justice, Vice President of the Center for Administration and Public Policies (ISCSP/University of Lisbon), Director and Chief Editor of the Public Sciences & Policies scientific journal, Coordinator of the National Observatory of Public Administration and Foreign Collaborator of the Justice Administration Research Group at the University of Brasília. He published more than 100 articles in specialized journals and 16 works in scientific events annals. He has 2 book chapters. He has more than 400 items of technical production and participated in 29 events in Portugal and abroad. He supervised 2 doctoral thesis and co-supervised 2, supervised 11 master's dissertations and he co-supervised 1, supervised 22 works of graduation/bachelor's degree and co-supervised 1. He received 7 awards and/or honors. His main work areas are Social Sciences with an emphasis on Political Sciences, Economics and Management (Public Administration, Public Policy, Interdisciplinary and Law) and Exact Sciences with an emphasis on Mathematics, Computer and Information Sciences (Statistics, Data Analysis and Data Mining). In his professional activities, he interacted with 74 collaborators in co-authoring scientific works. In its Ciência Vitae curriculum, the most frequent terms in the context of scientific and technological production are: Statistics, Data Analysis, Justice, Successive Impact Assessment, Performance Evaluating Systems, Public Policies and Public Administration.
