Assistant Professor at the Faculty of English at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. Working within the frame of critical discourse analysis, my research centres around discursive constructions of migration integration as well as questions of community, belonging and exclusion. I am also the co-ordinator of a migrant integration project in Poznań and Assistant Editor of the Journal of Language and Politics. I was awarded a BA at the University of Sussex and received an MA in Peace and Development Studies from Universitat Jaume I, Spain. I have 15yrs experience of working in NGOs in the UK, Ukraine, Spain, Israel and Poland. As well as academic publications in journals, edited volumes and project reports, I also write articles for non-academic audiences such as New Statesman and Left Foot Forward in the UK and Krytyka Polityczna in Poland.
