I am Assistant Professor of International Relations at Justus Liebig University (Germany) and act as Official Representative (OR) of Justus Liebig University at ECPR since 2017. I graduated at Technische Universität Darmstadt (2011) and hold an Interim Professorship of International Politics at Humboldt-University of Berlin (2015-2016). I am Covenor of the ECPR Research Network "Food Policy and Governance" and act as Steering Committee Member of this network since 2020 . I am (co)principal investigator of the research projects "SUSKULT - Development of a Sustainable Cultivation System for Food in Resilient Metropolitan Regions" (2019-2024) and "TANNRE - The Transformation Potential of Inter-Institutional Arrangements and the Norm of Sustainability in the Global Food Regime Complex" (2017-2021) (TANNRE) funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. My areas of expertise include the rise of international norms, norm contestation, norm entrepreneurship, food-, agricultural and sustainability politics, new forms of transnational governance, and the legitimacy and effectiveness of public and private organizations.
