About

I am a third-year PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Münster and junior researcher in the LANUSYNCON project at the Center for Development Research (ZEF) at the University of Bonn. In my dissertation, I examine how science-policy interfaces cope with complexity related to the SDGs on land use, and how their findings are communicated to Kenyan policymakers focused on biodiversity and agriculture. I attended the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Program in Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management, and hold a Master of Science from Central European University, University of the Aegean, and Lund University. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Ecology from College of the Atlantic specializing in climate policy, forest conservation, and indigenous rights issues.
