I am a professor of Political Science at the University of Canberra, and the Director of the Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance. I work in the area of deliberative/participatory democracy and democratic innovations. My recent publications include: Mending Democracy: Democratic Repair in Disconnected Times (Oxford University Press, 2020, co-authored with Boswell and Hendriks), and Research Methods in Deliberative Democracy (Oxford University Press, 2022, co-edited with Asenbaum, Curato and Mendonca).
