I am Professor of Comparative Politics and Public Policy at Bielefeld University, Germany. Previous positions were at the University of Hagen, KU Leuven, the University of Vienna and the University of Münster. My specialisation is in public policy analysis, and comparative social policy. My current research focuses on evidence use for policymaking, eligibility to social rights and corresponding inequalities, as well as the Narrative Policy Framework.
