My teaching and research draw on the analytic tradition and, over the last few years, has increasing come to concern the ‘theory of the state’. My interests lie at the intersection of political theory, law and political science. Much of my writing concerns theoretical, practical and legal issues associated with systemic state wrongdoing, including matters of transitional justice and monetary redress for survivors of abuse in care.
