Sylvia Kruse is a lecturer (Akademische Rätin) at the Forest and Environmental Policy Group at Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg (Germany). Her research field covers environmental policy and planning focusing on sustainable water management, natural hazards and climate change. Her recent research includes work on policy and organisational learning, adaptive capacity and community resilience in the field of hazard management, climate change and sustainable transformation.
