About

I am a feminist-postcolonial scholar, teaching courses on gender and post-decolonial politics at the University of Vienna and the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg. I obtained my doctorate in Political Science at the University of Vienna as part of an interdisciplinary doctoral team that was funded by the Austrian Academy of Sciences for its research on mobilisation, media and subject-formation. My research and teaching activities focus on intersectionality, gender and postcolonial studies, political mobilisation, care politics, climate politics, online communication, and mobility studies. I have published in, for instance, Cahiers de L’Ouest Saharien, Historical Social Research, the Journal of African Media Studies, Femina Politica, and Transfers – Interdisciplinary Journal of Mobility Studies.
