I am a Tenure-Track professor of Comparative Politics at European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). I use quantitative and computational methods to study challenges to democracy (democratic backsliding, rightwing populism, polarization), the politics of gender, as well as the digitalization of politics. I am particularly interested in Central-Eastern Europe.
