I am a post-doctoral researcher at Department of Social Work, Södertörn University, and previously defended my PhD at Department of Sociology, Stockholm Univerisity. My research interests include sociology of religion, migration and ethnicity, and political sociology. I am currently working on projects investigating 1) the outcome of migration from Finland to Sweden since 1970s, and 2) the trends, determinants and consequences of religious affiliation in Finland, using Finnish and Swedish register data. My PhD dissertation focuses on the impact of religion on political attitudes and political behaviors through political cleavages, political institutions and political articulation, in secularizing European societies.
