I am a Research Fellow at the Institute for Global City Policing, Department of Security and Crime Science at University College London (UCL). I hold a PhD from King's College London, where my doctoral research focused on the culture of policing in Karachi, Pakistan. My research interests include police militarisation, police reforms and legitimacy, urban securitisation, and urban violence in the global South. I am also interested in police-minority relations, youth crime and drug-related crime.
