Natasha Wunsch is Assistant Professor of Political Science/European Integration at Sciences Po and Senior Researcher at ETH Zurich. Her research interests comprise European integration, in particular matters related to EU enlargement and the European Parliament, and democratisation, with a focus on democratic backsliding in Eastern Europe.

Marie-Eve Bélanger is Post-doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Comparative and International Studies of ETH Zürich, and the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of Geneva. Her current research addresses the issues of the politicisation of European borders, and the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on discourses about borders across Europe.

About the Standing Group

The Standing Group on the European Union (SGEU) promotes coordination and collaboration among political scientists interested in the blooming area of research on the EU. Primarily a group of political scientists, the SGEU also fosters multidisciplinary collaboration across social science disciplines, including anthropology, economics, law, sociology, and social psychology, with a substantive focus on the EU. Find out more
