As a community dedicated to feminist research, our Standing Group on Gender and Politics is launching an online seminar series that aims to promote a dialogue among feminists to re-discover, re-appropriate and re-invent the roots of our discipline.
Each seminar aims to foster the transmission and transformation of feminist knowledge by putting into dialogue diverse scholars across East and West and North and South divides to discuss their understanding of core feminist concepts and approaches relating to a number of thematic areas.
The event is open to anyone interested in research addressing issues in representation of gender in politics, completely FREE!
Registration is required but you'll only need to register once for the entire series. You’ll need a My ECPR account to register.
Launched on 30 May, the Standing Group on Gender and Politics hosted their first seminar on political representation, welcoming Jennifer M. Piscopo of Occidental College & Royal Holloway University and Michal Grahn of Uppsala University who brought a unique perspective and wealth of knowledge on this particular matter.
