Travelling to Nicosia

There are two international airports in the Republic of Cyprus: Larnaca is 50km (31 miles) from Nicosia, and Paphos 142km (88 miles).

Transport from Larnaca airport to Nicosia

• Taxis with taximeter rates are available 24 hours a day from the waiting area outside the Arrivals Hall at Level 0. More on Taxi fares and regulations. 
• Kapnos Airport Shuttle This dedicated bus service from the airport to Nicosia offers 38 routes for €8 per person. Timetables and online booking. When you arrive at the shuttle station in Nicosia, taxis are available to take you to your destination.
• Travel Express is a 24/7 licensed intercity taxi. Fares and online booking
• Car rental Several options including Europcar, Budget and Sixt. More information, and online booking

Visas

A valid passport is required to enter the Republic of Cyprus, though EU citizens, as well as those from Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, may enter with a valid national identity card, provided it contains a photograph.
