Getting around the city

Public transport

OSEL urban bus routes run every half hour until around 18:00. Limited services at weekends. €1.50 per ride or €5 a day / €15 a week for unlimited travel within a district. See the OSEL website.

Several bus routes run from downtown to the University; the quickest is No.123. All start from Solomou Square. Most buses stop at 28 Oktovriou Avenue, 200–300 metres from the University entrance. 

Taxis

Pick up taxis from taxi-waiting areas (especially in downtown Nicosia) or call one of the numerous taxi companies to pick you up from any location. Some options are:
