The electrical supply operates on AC 220–240 volts. Outlets correspond to British standards, with three-prong plugs. Many hotels provide adaptors on request at reception.
Eating out is affordable. Local wines and spirits tend to be cheaper than imported drinks.
Restaurants expect around 10% tip if the service has been good, unless a service charge has already been included in the bill.
