ECPR make the most of your membership

Welcome to the ECPR Joint Sessions!

At ECPR, we pride ourselves on supporting scholars at all stages of their careers. Is there anything more we can do for you?

Membership

Involvement at ECPR operates on two key levels.

Institutional

Our Full or Associate Members form the core of our community. Institutional membership brings a range of benefits to both the institution and to all scholars affiliated with it.

Interested in institutional membership? Get in touch with us at membership@ecpr.eu.

Individual

Individual scholars can join any of our Research Networks and Standing Groups for free which connect them to like-minded scholars worldwide.

Find out more about Standing Groups and Research Networks, their activities, and the events they're hosting this year in this Expo.

Have you updated your My ECPR account recently? This will help you connect with your fellow scholars and help us to improve our services.

Events

The Joint Sessions is one of the key dates in our calendar, but it's not alone!

General Conference

An engaging, annual platform for discussion, debate and thinking; Europe's largest annual gathering of political scientists at all career stages.

Methods School

A comprehensive programme of cutting-edge qualitative and quantitative methodological training delivered by experts across two annual events.

House Series

Inspired by Harbour House, our HQ, this series of talks seeks to open doors to some of the most pressing issues and challenges in the discipline.

Plus, our Standing Groups and Research Networks run a range of exciting events throughout the year. Stop by the other virtual booths in our Expo to find out more.

And so much more!

Elsewhere in the Expo, explore our Jobs Bulletin, publications programme, and our portfolio of prestigious prizes, all of which you can engage with regardless of membership status.

In addition, scholars from our Member institutions can do the following:

  • Access discounts on our event fees
  • Get grants and funding for event attendance
  • Chair Sections at our GC
  • Direct Workshops at the JS
  • Propose new groups and networks
  • Stand for election within our organisation
