Representation and Democracy in Latin America During Turbulent Times

Abstract

This panel brings together scholars who tackle the changing nature of representation in the current climate of Latin American politics. Covering a range of institutional and policy related issues, this set of papers analyze the impact and implications of citzenship-by-investment programes, the role of the military in civil governments, and gender equality, among others, for Latin American democracy.
