Abstract

This panel focuses on how countries manage immigration from a comparative perspective. In particular, the panel sheds light on how host countries design and implement their immigration and immigrant integration policies, including access to the labour market, cultural diversity management and border and asylum-related programmes. The panel also examines to what extend different contextual factors related to destination countries shape their policy outcomes in the field of migration
