Abstract

The panel considers several specific issues from the perspective of a Kantian account of justice. There is a particular focus on UN's Agenda 2030 on sustainable development, a discussion on the EU's Single Market, a consideration of issues of inequalities in Covid-19 restrictions at the Finnish-Swedish border, an analysis of equal opportunities in education within a liberal framework, and a critical examination of social justice in Hindu societies. These topics are connected through the Kantian framework of an account of political justice directed by essential concerns for freedom and equality.
